Each of the 50 rooms at Pioneers is designed with comfort in mind, featuring air conditioning, ceiling fans, and spacious en-suite bathrooms with double vanities. Family rooms accommodate multiple guests, providing a welcoming stay for larger groups. Room amenities also include tea and coffee stations and mosquito nets.

Pioneers offers an outdoor restaurant for relaxed dining and an indoor dining room which serves a breakfast buffet including a variety of cereals, fruits, and hot dishes. The menu changes seasonally and features local cuisine options, including game meats. A classic saloon-style bar provides a selection of drinks, including locally brewed craft beer.

Guests can enjoy leisure activities at Pioneers with two swimming pools nestled in the garden, a day spa offering a variety of treatments, and a cozy TV room. The lodge is committed to sustainability, utilizing solar energy to power much of its operations and supporting local wildlife charities. The on-site Activities Desk helps guests arrange local tours and experiences.
